Hi, My name is Mr. Nirajan Acharya and I was born in Nepal, the country of Himalayas. In 2012, I completed my higher education with a strong foundation in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Computer Science from Moonlight Higher Secondary School, Kumaripati, Lalitpur, Nepal. There, I was introduced to the fundamentals of computer operations and learned basic HTML, CSS, MS-DOS, batch scripting and Microsoft Office Packages basics inlcuding Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint. Outside of the classroom, I volunteered at a computer shop where I gained hands-on experience installing hardware components on motherboards using SATA, PATA, and SSD interfaces. One of the most enjoyable aspects of this experience was connecting front IO connectors to the motherboard. Additionally, I learned how to install operating systems such as Windows XP/7 and Linux from scratch using bootable CDs. I also became proficient in booting OSes from USB with live images. In my free time, I enjoyed experimenting with batch scripts using the command prompt on Windows.

I hold a BSc. in Meteorology with a combined focus on Physics and Mathematics fromTri-Chandra Multiple Campus, Ghantaghar, Kathmandu, Nepal. My studies provided me with a deeper understanding of the atmosphere, clouds, and climate. I learned about the atmospheric continuum and the crucial need to address climate change. During my studies, I was introduced to ArcGIS and other software tools for weather monitoring and became curious about their development. In my free time, I enjoyed exploring the capabilities of different operating systems by multi-booting on the same machine and jailbreaking iPhones. This led me to discover the power of tweaking iOS functionality through Cydia and the terminal on iPhone. My interest in technology also extended to learning about the Unix filesystem architecture, which I later found to be similar to Linux.

I furthered my education by obtaining a Master’s degree in Information Technology from University of Southern Queensland, Toowoomba, Queensland, Australia. I have gained a wealth of knowledge in project management, cybersecurity, penetration testing, software engineering, software development methodologies, web technologies, blockchain technologies, and various programming languages such as C#, python, java, Javascript, php etc. My passion for learning drives me to continuously expand my skill set and take on new challenges. I have completed several projects, which are showcased on my Github profile and detailed in the Past Experiences section on navigation bar above. ;)
